Matilda

Watched Matilda the Musical, a gift from my mom and brother at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. I loved the dynamic background changes that happened as the scenes progressed. Beauty and poetry were expected but what surprised me was that there were few scary moments and some of pure awe like the swinging scene below (no photography is allowed so this is from the #nmacc Instagram handle). As I walked towards the exit after the standing ovation for the crew, I overheard a pre-teen tell her mother, "At least it was better than The Sound of Music." Well, that left me speechless 😞
