The slow birder

I tell a friend that in an age of birdwatching characterized by people lugging 600mm lenses, I am still not a bird photographer and he comments, "The 100-page notebook." Well, it's an upgrade to the digital age #ebird by the Cornell Lab but I am still a slow birder 😆 What the camera often misses are the finer points. Like today, when all of the dozen red-wattled lapwings and bank mynas around the Bhayli canal area suddenly disappeared in less than 24 hours. #birderslife #birdcensus #vadodarabirds
