Neuroscience: When two deaf-mute kids talked and I couldn't hear them
Two kids with hearing impairments. One is 4, the other 8. One of them has a cochlear implant. They cannot speak the way we do. They do not know the sign language, yet. But they communicate, with their signs and some sounds, to play for 15 minutes. It's the most beautiful thing to be the most able-bodied person in their space and not know a thing about what is going on π #speech #deafcommunity #deafmute #neurodiversity #neurology #neuroscience #communication #hearingimpaired #speech #amazingchildren
